Dil ki girah is a story based in Lahore, Pakistan. The story begins as a couple develops a beautiful and blissful family together, however, not all stories deserve a happy ending. Rahela’s death leaves Rehman confused on whether he should tear the world apart over losing his beloved wife or feel blessed for the treasure she had given birth to before she passed away. After Rahela’s death,  Rehman’s family begins to worry about how exactly will Rehman raise his children by himself and force him to get married to shahista, a widow which doesn’t belong to their high standardised society and class but has the purest of hearts.

She brings along her toddler ‘Aman’, which doesn’t suit well with anybody in Rehman’s family. Aman and his mother have to learn to survive in house where they are not welcomed, will they be able to win over the hearts of the ones that hate them so severely? Will Rehman realise that blood doesn’t always mean family? Or will they endure the consequences of the mistakes they haven’t even made.

Fatima Malik is a new emerging Urdu Novels/Novelit/ Afsana writer. She started her writing journey from 2020. She has written many stories and choose variety of topics to write about. Her first and most famous novel is Dil Ki Giraa.
